Mint Technology Welcomes New Board Member
Toronto, Ontario CANADA, July 19, 2006 /FSC/ - Mint Technology Corp.
(MIT - TSX Venture), Canada's leading provider of prepaid credit card
programs, announced today that Roger Rai has joined the Company's Board
of Directors and will serve as a consultant for business development.
Mr. Rai currently serves as Director of Development at the
Toronto-based film company, C.O.R.E Digital Pictures Inc. During his
first year at the company in 2003, Mr. Rai was instrumental in
facilitating Ted Field's Radar Pictures becoming a producing partner
which led to an equity investment in C.O.R.E. Prior to his departure to
the entertainment industry, Mr. Rai worked in the telecommunications
and Internet industries. He was the VP of Sales and one of the founders
of FastVibe and from 1992-98 he held positions in a marketing, sales
and product development capacity at Rogers Cable and Rogers Wireless.
Mr. Rai sits on the boards of the publicly traded company, Zoolander
Corp., and Canada's largest on-line travel retailer, itravel2000. Mr.
Rai also acts as Chairman Emeritus for not-for-profit organization
ONEXONE.

influential. He has been involved in facilitating transactions across a
broad spectrum of industries including finance, telecommunications,
entertainment and lifestyle which will be invaluable to us as we
continue to target and develop programs in these sectors," said Frank

Roger in the past, I have had first hand experience with Roger's

The Company has granted 75,000 options to Mr. Rai at an exercise price
of $0.10 per share, expiring on December 2, 2008.
